Join IMA’s Chapter Boards: Volunteer Leadership Opportunity

Are you passionate about advancing the management accounting profession and serving your local professional community? The IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) is seeking dedicated volunteers for our Chapter Boards. This is a volunteer position with a one-year commitment.

About the Role

You will work closely with your fellow volunteer board members to achieve shared goals and ensure the chapter's success. You will also collaborate with IMA staff based in the IMA Europe office in Amsterdam and the Volunteer Relations team at IMA headquarters in the USA.

As a Chapter Board member, you will help drive the success of our local IMA community by:

  • Planning and coordinating chapter activities.
  • Engaging members to ensure a high-quality member experience
  • Representing the IMA mission and vision as an ambassador in the region.

Board roles include (but are not limited to): President, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President of Engagement, Webmaster, and other task force members. All board members must become IMA members and demonstrate a commitment to the responsibilities of care, loyalty, and compliance with IMA’s policies.
